CREATIVE DIRECTION

Developing concepts and long-term creative strategies that shape a brand’s positioning, identity and visual direction across interiors, lifestyle and hospitality. From initial idea through to final execution, narrative, space, materiality and image-making are brought together to create a clear and cohesive visual language. Creative direction can encompass brand and visual strategy, campaign concepts, photography and film, location and creative team selection, post-production, and oversight of the wider brand expression across print, digital, PR and advertising.

ART DIRECTION

Working across photography and film, Sarah art directs imagery with a strong emphasis on composition, atmosphere and storytelling. From defining the visual language and selecting locations, photographers and collaborators to directing lighting, framing and the final edit, every element is considered as part of the whole.

The result is imagery that feels intentional and recognisable, while remaining true to the identity of the brand or project.

INTERIOR STYLING

Sarah’s signature style is a distilled and restrained approach to styling, allowing the architecture and existing pieces space to breathe. Nothing is overly styled; instead, she favours fewer, thoughtfully considered additions, sourced specifically for the character of each project. Furniture, art, objects, textiles, books, flowers and plants form the final layer, bringing warmth and a sense of life without overwhelming the space. With a strong emphasis on composition, proportion and balance, every element is carefully placed to create imagery that feels instinctive and effortless, where nothing is contrived and every piece has purpose.

INTERIOR DESIGN

Sarah’s approach to interior design places a strong emphasis on interior architecture, responding to the history, character and sense of place of each space rather than imposing a predetermined aesthetic. Her background in product design for a high-end textile brand informs a highly bespoke approach, frequently designing and commissioning furniture, textiles and wallcoverings specifically for a project. A fascination with the relationship between past and present runs throughout her work, sourcing antiques from different cultures and eras and placing them alongside contemporary design in unexpected ways. 1970s Italian pieces sit alongside early 20th-century Danish furniture and much older antiques, mixing periods, styles and provenance to create something that feels collected, timeless and entirely fresh. Every element, from material, colour and proportion to furniture, art and objects is rigorously considered, coming together to create interiors with depth, personality and a cohesive visual language.

SET DESIGN

Sarah’s set design is best described as restrained theatricality, rooted in a strong emphasis on interior architecture and transforming space through material, colour and scale. A staircase enveloped in cascading fabric, walls clad in smoked glass, or an entire room drenched in a single colour across architecture, furniture and objects. For Sarah, a single, bold gesture can define an environment, creating sets that feel immersive and visually impactful yet carefully refined.
